Band saw blade cuts aluminum

The M K. Morse Co. has introduced its M-Factor HSN band saw blade engineered for high-speed cutting of aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. Designed for use on aluminum billets, non-ferrous alloys, engine blocks, and aluminum components, the blade is also suitable for graphite, copper, and bronze alloys.

Key design features include a thinner kerf and a multi-chip tooth geometry, which contribute to lower cutting temperatures and extended blade life, particularly in aluminum solids.

The new blade is designed to operate at reduced temperatures.
